AKTAKOM ADS-2061MV dual channel Oscilloscope 60 MHz+VGA Review

I bought one of these and still think it's great for a $360 scope, however it could be better. I see a lot of jitter in the trigger circuit, or rather, jitter algorithm. My trace moves side to side unless I have averaging turned on. Averaging can't be used for single shot measurements. That means it's a great scope to learn with and a great scope for some hobby work but not good for real work. This should be a matter of a software or firmware update to fix. I worked with the company on it and was basically asked what I expect from a $400 scope. I guess I expect more. Search for this item and you'll find my YouTube video comparing it to an Tektronix TDS-210 digital and and a Tektronix 485 analog scope.

What I really like about this thing is that it has a wide screen. More graticule lines! That and a VGA port so it can directly drive a wide screen TV without distortion. This is great for teaching a class or giving a demonstration.

Because of the jitter issue, this thing mostly sits and collects dust, however it's the only scope I own with a USB port. You can pull data off of it with a USB thumb drive. This is useful for analyzing what your scope saw, including graphics in technical papers, etc.
