For a kit of this price, I was frustrated by the lack of information and instructions. I went online and found a little more information, but the informatoin actually turned out to be incorrect.

Being somewhat familiar with casting, I suspected my application would require some type of release agent to assist in the removal of the Reporubber from my part. There was no imfroration in the kit, so I went online. There I found a product-information sheet that claimed release agents are never needed, so I proceded.

I had to figure out on my own how to install the cartridges and mixing nozzles. After doing so, I purged a small amout of material onto a towel until I was certain the material exiting the nozzle was well mixed. It mixed well and effortlessly. I then filled my part with Reprorubber and allowed it to cure. Here I was impressed with the flow charactoristics of the material and the short cure time.

However, when I tried to remove the cured Reprorubber from my part, I had a terrible time! It seemed to be locked in place. I had to carefully cut it out with a knife. (Fortunately, I was able to salvage a peice large enough to take the needed measurements.) I tried the same procedure with both the thin-pour (green tube) and the medium-bodied (orange tube) formulas, both giving similar results with my part.

In conclusion, Reprorubber works well but is not for every application. Procede with caution!
