Product Description
Senco is widely regarded as a pioneer and a standard setter in the air-powered nailer industry, and their FramePro 600 clipped head framing nailer lives up to that reputation. At only 8 pounds, it's one of the lightest tools in its class, yet it's versatile and powerful enough to shoot nails from 2 to 3-1/2 inches and comes with all the features professionals expect in a framing gun. The FramePro uses a dual-action (bump-firing) safety and features an aggressive tip to prevent slippage when toenailing. It holds two full strips of nails, and the last nail lockout means you'll never waste time shooting blanks. Furthermore, while all framing guns will inevitably jam a nail from time to time, Senco deals with the problem by including an easy-clear system on all their guns: FramePro series nailers have a completely removable magazine that allows full access to the firing channel. In testing, we found the FramePro to be well balanced, smooth firing, and consistent in the depth it countersinks nails. In fact, the only drawback we found is that the nailer's drive depth and exhaust port adjustments each require a different wrench (Allen for the exhaust port, open-ended for the drive depth), and neither of these tools is attachable to the body of the nailer, which means framers will have to carry these little wrenches in their nail bags for any on-the-spot adjustments. Despite this minor oversight, Senco's solid reliability and widely available service make this FramePro a serious competitor compared to other clipped head framing nailers. All things considered, it's a great gun. --Brian Trinen
Senco FP600 FramePro Clipped Head Nailer Review
I have been a builder for 18 years now and have used my share of Framing Nail Guns, and i think this one has it all. The weight is great at 8 lbs. The nails are fast and easy to load, and it is very powerful. My previous framing gun I bought from a friend because the price was right( Bostitch n80S) It is time consuming to load the nails plus it won't drive 16 penny nails much at all, even into green wood so I have always had to use 12 penny nails. The framepro 600 drives 16 penny nails with ease even below the surface if you wish. The bottom line is, I highly reccommend this gun to anyone who spends time framing. Most of the consumer Reviews tell that the "Senco FP600 FramePro Clipped Head Nailer" are high quality item.
