As advertised, this carburetor is a new OEM Briggs part. It's not a rebuild. It was professionally packed and arrived ahead of the ETA date.

If there's anything I'd liked to have known before purchasing, it's that the breather pan gasket (top gasket) isn't included. If you need this gasket, shop for it and put it in your cart before checking out.

This item comes with the fuel pump installed. A fuel pump kit isn't needed. Bolt the carb to the manifold, connect the lines and you're back in business. It's that easy. No adjustments are required.

The base gaskets are included as well as a new S-hook for connecting the throttle linkage. A nice touch since many of us old-timers tend to drop and lose those things while we're working. ;)

We acquired an orphaned garden tractor recently and converted it to a firewood dragger. Pulled the belly mower and installed super lug tires. Everything is solid and strong. However, the engine wouldn't run unless the choke was partially closed. Cleaning the carb didn't cure the problem and I didn't wish to fuss with rebuilding it.

This new carb got us rolling. Very easy to install - two 1/4" bolts. Cranked the engine to fill the bowl and she was purring like brand-new. We took it out in the woods today and ran it for over three hours. It starts quickly with little choke when cold. When warm, it starts in a second with no choke. Hit the ignition and "Vroom."
