The meter is brand new but manufactured ages ago. More importantly the calibration period is well overpassed. The sticker on the meter recommended next calibration within a year 12 years ago! It works well and it is performing within specs, at least so far. They are suposed --according to the included manual-- to come with the RS232 optical adapter and CD. Also there should have been a calibration certificate, a record that gives you the deviation of the meter measurements from the calibration standard. Both things were missing. Ingeneral you get what you pay for, but is frustrating to get a great product in a stale condition. C'est la vie!
