Didn't buy mine from Amazon or any of its vendors because of the high prices. Found mine from a private seller for much less (just over half price).
When I got it, it had excessive horizontal blade play, so I sent it to Case for repair under warranty (new in the box knife, made in March of 2013). It took two tries, but they finally got it right. Thanks to Mary Ann and Ron for restoring my faith in the integrity of Case.

This is an elegantly simple construction of a folding knife, done well. A backspring, two pins, a lanyard tube, two slabs of carbon fiber and a blade. Some fixed blade knives have more parts than this. Its sophistication is in its simplicity.
