The 60 watt LED light does indeed put out a brilliant white light as advertised. This lamp replaced a 175 watt mercury vapor. A couple of modifications were required within the fixture of the light. The LED lamp is about one inch longer than the mercury vapor bulb. The lamp socket has mounting adjustments inside the light head that allowed the longer LED bulb to fit properly within the reflector. The LED has another build in feature that allows the bulb to swivel within itself for the perfect adjustment within the reflector. With the mercury vapor ballast no longer required I removed it to lighten the weight for easier handling during installation. The lamp has been in service for a month and much impressed on just how much what a 60 watt LED light can produce.
